The Practicalities
- Bring a warm jacket, gloves and a beanie — sunrise temperatures at Bromo can drop to 3–10°C.
- Wear comfortable trekking shoes with good grip; sand and volcanic ash can be slippery.
- A valid passport copy is required for national park registration.
- Pickup time is confirmed via WeChat or WhatsApp one day before departure.
- Drone flights follow national park rules and are operated by our licensed crew.
- Children under 5 and pregnant guests should consult us before booking.
- Ijen requires a health screening by a licensed physician before the trek (included).
- Gas masks and headlamps are provided for the blue-fire hike.
- Guests with asthma, heart or respiratory conditions may not be allowed to enter the crater area.
- Ferry tickets Gilimanuk–Ketapang are included.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 14 days before departure (100% refund minus payment fees). 7–13 days before: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: non-refundable. If a tour cannot run due to official volcanic restrictions, we offer a Plan B route or a full date change at no extra cost.
