The Practicalities

• Bring a warm jacket, gloves and a beanie — sunrise temperatures at Bromo can drop to 3–10°C.
• Wear comfortable trekking shoes with good grip; sand and volcanic ash can be slippery.
• A valid passport copy is required for national park registration.
• Pickup time is confirmed via WeChat or WhatsApp one day before departure.
• Drone flights follow national park rules and are operated by our licensed crew.
• Children under 5 and pregnant guests should consult us before booking.
• Ijen requires a health screening by a licensed physician before the trek (included).
• Gas masks and headlamps are provided for the blue-fire hike.
• Guests with asthma, heart or respiratory conditions may not be allowed to enter the crater area.
• The Tumpak Sewu canyon descent is optional and fitness-assessed by your guide on site.
